Let’s bring joy and focus back into your life

About Lindy Noll, LCSW

Life can be tough sometimes, and it is understandable to feel overwhelmed and exhausted, especially when it seems like everything around you is changing. In addition to your personal life, your work and relationships can also suffer when you're feeling down. It's important to recognize that you're not alone in your struggles, and that there are ways to overcome these challenges.

Hi there!

I help guide and support adults like you who want to discover their true potential. I equip my clients with the tools they need to reach their goals and find confidence again.

My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that mental and physical health are interconnected. In addition to therapy, I believe it is also important to improve physical health through healthy habits, exercise, and other tools to improve overall wellness.

I understand that anxiety can be difficult to live with because I have experienced it myself. I know that it can be taxing and make you feel hopeless. When we work together, you'll get someone who truly understands your situation and has the tools ready to assist.

Therapy Approach

My clients take therapy at the pace they are comfortable with. Together we use a combination of strengths-based and problem-solving approaches to learn how to change thinking patterns and find the resources within you. I am an advocate of mindfulness practices as a coping technique. I also believe that getting off the couch and trying new things can help build self confidence.

I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to work on irrational thinking and change perspectives. I am trained in EMDR and clinical hypnotherapy, which can be useful if more in-depth processing is needed. I am committed to expanding my knowledge and skills through training opportunities to better serve my clients.

What it’s like to work with me?

  1. Get to know each other. I will take a detailed history related to your presenting problem. We will also work on establishing goals that will be used to track progress.

  2. Start feeling better one day at a time by building coping strategies and using mindfulness exercises to help build resilience.

  3. Build a more healthy and productive lifestyle. Start doing things that you love or would like to learn.

  4. Uncover deeper connections between the past and present. Often times you may feel the way you do due to past events.

  5. Process painful experiences and move forward using EMDR or looking at it in a different way.

We customize each session to meet your needs. Sometimes it is used to vent while other times we are actively trying to change perspectives and build a tool kit of coping skills.
